Prepare for an enlightening afternoon at the Guimerá Theater on Thursday, March 14th, as “Technological Santa Cruz – Grupo Canaauto” brings together a lineup of distinguished speakers delivering captivating talks lasting a maximum of 20 minutes. The event aims to captivate the audience and spark transformative shifts in our perspectives on technology.

The CEO of the Development Society, Carmen Pérez, has announced that tickets for the morning session are nearly sold out, with the afternoon session filling up fast, surpassing 75% capacity. It is crucial to secure your tickets at www.tecnologicasantacruz.com. This is a unique opportunity to hear from experts who will define the current landscape and unveil how the latest innovations will revolutionize our approach to work and the world.

Kicking off the session at 5:10 p.m. will be Isaac Hernández, the Country Manager of Google Cloud. Hernández is entrusted by tech giant Google to drive the strategy of the company’s commercial division in Spain and Portugal. Holding a degree in Telecommunications Engineering from the Polytechnic University of Madrid, Hernández is a seasoned industry expert.

Following Hernández, at 5:45 p.m., Carlos Santana, a prominent figure in Artificial Intelligence, will take the stage. Santana, a computer engineering graduate and professor, is renowned for his YouTube channel, Dot CSV, boasting over 750 thousand subscribers and 172,000 followers on X social network. Additionally, Santana serves as a professor of Machine Learning & Data Science at the School of Industrial Organization.

At 6:50 p.m., Pedro Lozano, an explorer in the realms of Metaverse and Artificial Intelligence, as well as the co-founder of Imascono and Vice President of CEAJE, will delve into emerging technological trends. His creative technology studio specializes in Extended Reality and the Metaverse, catering to top international clients such as Telefónica Disney Star Wars Coca-Cola, and Samsung. Lozano’s contributions have earned him numerous national and international accolades, including a spot on the list of ’42 Spanish millennials to watch’ by Emprendedores Magazine.

Councilor Carmen Pérez underscores the significance of exploring topics such as the interplay between Artificial Intelligence and cloud technology, the value AI brings to businesses, and the productivity enhancements facilitated by immersive experiences in Extended Reality.

Other speakers featured in the afternoon session of “Technological Santa Cruz – Grupo Canaauto” include Isaac Hernández, Country Manager of Google Cloud; Pedro Lozano, co-founder of Imascono and Vice President of CEAJE; and Carlos Santana, an expert in Artificial Intelligence, among others.

Organized by the Development Society of Santa Cruz de Tenerife and sponsored by Promotur Turismo de Canarias (Government of the Canary Islands) through the Next Generation EU funds under the Recovery, Transformation, and Resilience Plan, “Technological Santa Cruz – Grupo Canaauto” promises to be a transformative event.

Grupo Canaauto, the official dealer of BMW, MINI, and BMW Motorrad for the province of Santa Cruz de Tenerife, as well as Jaguar, Land Rover, and MG for the Canary Islands, lends its name to Technological Santa Cruz 2024.

Supported by Worten, Mutua Tinerfeña, El Corte Inglés, and Última Informática in the Gold category; Hospiten in the Silver category; and Fuente Alta in the bronze category, the event also benefits from a strategic partnership with the European University of the Canary Islands.
