Discover the Top Coastal Trails in San Juan de la Rambla

The island boasts numerous well-maintained trails catering to various preferences, from family-friendly paths to more challenging routes for seasoned hikers. Undoubtedly, there are choices to suit every taste.

In this instance, we present some of the finest trails in San Juan de la Rambla where you can also relish the beachfront.

Circular Trail starting from Las Aguas

Embark on a circular route in San Juan de la Rambla that traverses the picturesque Las Aguas region. This moderately challenging hike will undoubtedly mesmerize you with its astounding vistas.

You can reach the starting point by public transport to the Ruiz Ravine bus stop and from there commence your journey through Barranco de la Chaurera, stroll along Las Aguas beach, and return via the Camino de Los Ángeles trail. A scenic route spanning approximately nine kilometers, offering diverse landscapes to enjoy.

This linear route provides stunning views of Tenerife’s northern coastline. It is a straightforward trail, less than five kilometers in length and suitable for all skill levels. Starting from Barranco Ruiz, the path leads through Plaza de la Rambla and Camino de Los Ángeles before reaching Las Aguas Beach. If conditions permit, take a refreshing swim and relish the beauty of this spectacular spot in San Juan de la Rambla.

If you enjoy seaside experiences, this route will unveil one of the most impressive bathing spots on the island: the Wind Puddle. Embark on this easy six-kilometer circular trail through San Juan de la Rambla to capture the most breathtaking coastal views. Starting from the La Marina area, follow the path to Charco del Viento, and if weather permits, make the most of the sun and sea.

As evident, this northern municipality offers diverse options for an adventurous day out with your loved ones amidst nature.
