Passengers have been facing ongoing delays on Titsa line 452, which operates between La Caleta de Adeje and El Risco. Complaints have been mounting, particularly during the late afternoon, with various travellers voicing their concerns to the local newspaper.
Despite claims from the Tenerife transport company that there have been no recent changes to the service, they acknowledge that delays are common during peak hours due to heavy traffic in the area.
Travellers describe their daily journey from San Isidro (Granadilla de Abona) to Adeje as smooth and punctual in the mornings, but encountering increasing issues when returning back.
“Delays have been happening for weeks now, at least three times a week. At Fañabé station, it’s evident that the services for lines 452, 111, and 450 are inconsistent despite indicating otherwise on the screens,” they share.
Passengers have reached out to company staff, but their concerns remain unresolved. “We were informed about delays, but the buses never arrived. This has been ongoing for a week now. Their response is always that everything is running smoothly as per their records, but that’s not the reality,” they highlight.
Titsa sources explain that line 452 experiences high demand, mainly due to the large population commuting to Adeje and back. “The buses have ample seating and standing space. The increased number of passengers has led to full buses,” they clarify.
Addressing the delays and potential suspension of line 452, they confirm that while delays may occur, especially during peak hours after two in the afternoon, there have been no suspensions of this line or lines 111 and 450.
Line 452 operates between La Caleta and El Risco, with the first bus departing from the latter at 5:50 a.m. and the last at 8:00 p.m. The journey from La Caleta begins at 7:50 a.m. and ends at 11:30 p.m., making a total of 22 stops. The route includes locations like San Isidro, the airport link, Parque la Reina, Adeje station, Fañabé Plaza, Bahía del Duque, La Enramada, and La Caleta de Adeje.
For any queries, Titsa provides a Customer Service section on its website for passengers to report incidents.
