Get ready for the upcoming Tecnológica Santa Cruz event, where from the 12th to the 17th of March, we will once again set our sights on the future. Organised by the Santa Cruz de Tenerife City Council, this event will be held at its usual venue, the Guimerá Theater, with the exciting addition of parallel programming at the Tenerife Espacio de las Artes (TEA).
Tecnológica Santa Cruz will present a comprehensive view of the current and future technological landscape, with around fifteen experts conducting dynamic talks lasting approximately 20 minutes each. They will discuss trends in areas such as artificial intelligence, virtual reality, and cybersecurity, among others.
Carmen Pérez, the CEO of the Development Society, emphasised that this will be the thirteenth edition, a significant milestone that positions it as one of the longest-standing and most prominent events in Spain within the technology, innovation, and digital communication sectors. The focus of the programming will be on integrating the latest technological trends across various aspects of life and work.
Featuring speakers like Pedro Aznar, Director of Applesfera since 2006, renowned for his extensive knowledge of Apple products and services. Aznar will provide an exclusive insight into current and future trends in the Apple ecosystem and its influence on the technology sector.
Additionally, Pedro Lozano, explorer of the Metaverse and Artificial Intelligence, co-founder of Imascono, and vice president of CEAJE, will present his take on Extended Reality and the Metaverse, drawing from his experience working with major corporations such as Telefónica, Disney, Coca-Cola, and Samsung.
Furthermore, Carlos Santana, a populariser of Artificial Intelligence and creator of the YouTube channel Dot CSV with over 750 thousand subscribers, as well as a professor of Machine Learning & Data Science, will share his expertise in the field of Artificial Intelligence.

Alongside Tecnológica Santa Cruz, the city will offer parallel programming to enhance the overall experience. The Boost your Company Forum with emerging technologies will kick off on Tuesday, March 12 at 9:00 AM. Entrepreneurship will take the spotlight as a source of inspiration in TecnoFight on March 13, starting at 7:00 PM at TEA. Participants will hear success stories and struggles from professionals in the digital realm, influencers, and AI experts.
Over the weekend, starting from Friday, TEA will host TecnoPlay, catering to enthusiasts of Asian culture, k-pop, video games, cosplay, and board games. This engaging and free event will delve into technology through a cultural lens, offering workshops, tournaments, and other activities.
Through Tecnológica Santa Cruz and its parallel events like TecnoPlay and TecnoFight, the significance of technology is highlighted not only as a work tool but also as a central element in contemporary culture and entertainment.
