SANTA CRUZ DE TENERIFE, 29th February (EUROPA PRESS) –
The former deputy president of the Cabildo of Tenerife and ex-regional coordinator of Ciudadanos (CS), Enrique Arriaga, has ceased to be a member and resigned from his leadership roles in the national hierarchy of the orange party, specifically from the National Committee and the General Council, as reported by Europa Press.
Arriaga, who has been serving in the island institution for several months after returning to his position as a civil servant in the Unit for Prevention of Occupational Risks, announced his withdrawal last week, thereby concluding his ties with the party and indicating that he will not be resuming his involvement in the political sphere in the near future.
In the most recent elections, Arriaga headed the Ciudadanos ballot for both the Tenerife Council and the City Council of Santa Cruz de Tenerife, but failed to secure any seats. These are the same governing bodies where he had shared power during the previous term alongside the PSOE.
