Emergency services continued the search yesterday for the man who fell into the sea yesterday afternoon at Rojas Beach in the Tenerife municipality of El Sauzal, with the introduction of the subaquatic team from the Civil Guard.
The Emergency and Rescue Coordination Center (Cecoes) 112 of the Government of the Canary Islands has reported that the local police, a Maritime Rescue boat, and Civil Guard agents deployed on land are also part of the operation.
The man fell into the sea yesterday due to the strong waves in the area while accompanied by a 12-year-old, who was rescued by the GES helicopter, and might have become trapped in a cave.
