Commuters at the Santa Cruz de Tenerife Interchange are expressing their frustration over the prolonged closure of the escalators, which, as indicated by information signs and billboards for several weeks, have been undergoing maintenance.
This extended closure has caused difficulties for individuals with restricted mobility, hindering their independent access to the facilities.
“Mobility in the Santa Cruz Interchange is severely limited. The elevators are out of service with no alternative available. Thousands of daily users observe their instability,” tweeted the @Dimasma1 account on Twitter (X).
The situation has led to growing discomfort among users, who are calling for a swift resolution from the relevant authorities.
The Interchange requires high-quality services, which it typically provides. However, the escalators have been non-operational for an extended period.
