The municipality of Villa de Tegueste, through the Youth Department, is arranging various events aimed at all ages to celebrate the carnival.

The schedule, set for March 1 and 2, encompasses the carnival procession, the murgas festival, DJ performances, and more.

Youth Councilor, Elena Perdomo, affirms that “the initiative caters to the necessity of creating spaces that cater to the interests of Tegueste’s young population, including events suitable for all ages.”

The festivities kick off on March 1, at 10:30 a.m., with a masquerade dance for the older citizens.

By 8:30 p.m., the Murgas Festival will commence, featuring the participation of Diablos Locos, Diabólicas, and Canción de la Risa. DJ Renzzo El Selector will wrap up the carnival’s first night, starting at 11:00 p.m.

On March 2, the Children’s Festival begins at 5:00 p.m., and will be followed by the grand procession at 7:30 p.m. The festival kicks off at 9:30 p.m. starring Banda Loca and concludes with DJ La Maldita at 12:00 a.m.
