A man used a communication system, consisting of a hidden mini camera under his shirt, which was attached to a button with a small hole through which it captured images from the computer, to cheat on a test to obtain a class B driving license in Santa Cruz de Tenerife.

Additionally, he had a hidden earpiece receiver in his right ear and a mobile phone concealed under his tracksuit, as reported by the Civil Guard in a statement on Monday, specifying that the accused faces a fine of 500 euros and a six-month prohibition from taking the test.

The incident was detected in the examination room of the Provincial Traffic Headquarters of Santa Cruz de Tenerife, when the candidate raised suspicions about the possibility of using outside assistance for the theoretical test.

Upon completion of the exam, agents from the Road Safety Investigation Unit of the Traffic Sector of Canary Islands proceeded to identify the candidate, carrying out necessary checks, confirming the use of a communication system.

According to the Civil Guard, such behaviour poses a serious danger to road safety, attempting to fraudulently obtain a driving license, lacking the necessary theoretical knowledge.
