The Santa Cruz Carnival 2024 is drawing to a close and, as usual, has provided us with numerous hours of wit and inventiveness from all those individuals who put effort into their attire. We’ve already covered the tale of the TF-5 tails costume, as well as the one that left Dario Lopez speechless, and now it’s time for a surprising appearance by Risto Mejide.
The well-known television host and commentator became famous as a judge on Operación Triunfo. His sharpness made him go viral, gain fame and ultimately, the publicist became a regular on television.
In another talent show, Tú si que vales, Risto Mejide remained true to form: critical, sharp at times, and often empathetic towards the participants. The moment of anticipation for his approval or disapproval became one of the most eagerly awaited segments of the program, and it was this moment that was captured by a carnival-goer.
TikTok user @ruthramos297 captured the moment in close proximity to the Orche, the iconic spot of the Santa Cruz Carnival, in order to share it with all of us. Reactions were swift, with many noting the striking physical resemblance to the real Risto Mejide.
