Unspecified cessation of operations on the Tenerife tram starting Monday, running with limited services

Employees of Metrotenerife will be commencing a continued strike starting Monday, which began at the start of February. This call is currently deemed “unspecified” and will result in the company operating with a minimum of 80% of services during peak hours on working days.

This was announced in a statement by Metrotenerife on Monday. The statement also added that the strike committee plans to hold strikes during peak service hours, from Monday to Friday. This means the time slots from 7:00 a.m. to 9:25 a.m., from 1:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m., and from 8:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. will be affected.

While Metrotenerife has expressed regret for any inconvenience this may cause, it has clarified that beyond these strike times, the usual service frequency will resume.
