SANTA CRUZ DE TENERIFE, 14th February (EUROPA PRESS) –
A collision between two vehicles in Arona, Tenerife, left two women and a 3-year-old child with moderate injuries, according to the Emergency and Security Coordinating Center of 112 of the Canary Islands.
The incident took place at 10:17 p.m. on the TF-28 highway, en route from Los Cristianos to the Valley, in the municipality of Arona. The Tenerife firefighters arrived at the scene to extricate the driver of one vehicle and a backseat occupant from the other car.
Additionally, the Canary Islands Emergency Service (SUC) attended to two women, one with moderate head trauma, who was taken by ambulance to Hospital del Sur; and the second with chest trauma and moderate neck pain, who was evacuated to Quirón Costa Adeje Hospital.
SUC staff also provided assistance to a 3-year-old child, who suffered moderate head trauma at the time of initial aid, and was subsequently transferred to Hospital del Sur in a sanitized ambulance.
The incident was resolved with the involvement of road service personnel and Civil Guard agents, who carried out the report.
