SANTA CRUZ DE TENERIFE, 13 Feb (EUROPA PRESS) –
Following a fall on the Anaga mountain near the Benijos region (Tenerife), a 57-year-old hiker sustained injuries on Monday afternoon, as reported by the Emergency and Security Coordinating Center (Cecoes) 112.
The GES helicopter was dispatched to the location, with its personnel successfully rescuing the affected woman and transferring her to the Tenerife North Airport, where a medical ambulance from the Canary Islands Emergency Service (SUC) was stationed.
The medical team provided care to the woman, who had sustained moderate trauma to her upper limb, subsequently necessitating her transfer to the Canary Islands University Hospital.
Ultimately, the Local Police of Las Palmas de Gran Canaria took over the proceedings.
