The Canary Islands registers 101 positive cases for coronavirus in the last 24 hours

SANTA CRUZ DE TENERIFE, Nov. 3 (EUROPA PRESS) –

The Ministry of Health of the Government of the Canary Islands registers 101 new cases of coronavirus COVID-19 this Wednesday, bringing the total accumulated cases in the Canary Islands to 97,447, with 1,129 active, of which 15 (+1) are admitted to the ICU and 99 (+35) remain hospitalized.

In the last hours, no deaths from COVID-19 have been registered in the Canary Islands, so deaths remain at 1,007.

The Accumulated Incidence at 7 days in the Canary Islands stands at 25.51 cases per 100,000 inhabitants and at 14 days at 52.9 cases per 100,000 inhabitants.

By islands, Tenerife today adds 43 cases with a total of 46,514 accumulated cases and 530 epidemiologically active cases; Gran Canaria has 37,192 accumulated cases, 36 more than the previous day and 446 active. Lanzarote adds 16 new cases with 7,119 accumulated and 67 epidemiologically active; Fuerteventura has 4,601 accumulated cases, with six new cases, and 52 active ones. La Palma, with no new positives, remains at 1,138 accumulated and 25 assets. El Hierro does not add new positives, so its accumulated are 468 and its assets are two.

La Gomera also does not notify new cases, so its accumulated are 4,141 and its assets are two.

Until this Wednesday, a total of 2,261,852 diagnostic tests have been carried out on the islands, of which 4,091 correspond to Tuesday.
