Tomorrow, on February 13th, many towns will declare Carnival Tuesday as a public holiday. This provides both locals and tourists with the opportunity to fully immerse themselves in the festivities without the worries of work.
Carnival Tuesday presents a unique chance to partake in the activities and performances scheduled in various towns in Tenerife, featuring music, dance, and vibrant parades.
Santa Cruz
Many people flock to the capital during this time to experience the diverse range of activities and relive the Carnival spirit. In Santa Cruz, Carnival Tuesday kicks off with a performance by the Ni Fú Ni Fá philharmonic band at 11:00 a.m., followed by the Los Fregolinos murga at 12:00 p.m. in Plaza del Príncipe.


The main event begins at 4:00 p.m. with the Santa Cruz de Tenerife Carnival Parade, which will traverse the streets of the capital, commencing from the lower part of Alameda Duque Santa Elena.
Visitors can also enjoy the Santa Cruz Carnival fair as a family, located on maritime Avenue. It opens at 5:00 p.m. from Monday to Saturday, and from 12.00 p.m. on Sundays.


La Orotava
In the town of La Orotava, the Anniversary of the Antique Car Valley Walk will commence at 10:00 a.m. in the Plaza de la Constitución, featuring a performance by the Orotava Fanfare “Peña el Casco”.
The Grand Carnival Parade will set off at 5:00 p.m., starting from Cruz del Teide to Plaza la Paz. At 7:30 p.m., the dance at Plaza de la Constitución will be enlivened with a festival by the La Maquinaria and The Boys Machine orchestra.


Puerto de la Cruz
In the town of Puerto de la Cruz, the 51st Anniversary of the Valley Rally of Vintage Cars will commence at 2:00 p.m. on Avenida Colón as part of the EuroCarnaval 2024 celebrations.
