SANTA CRUZ DE TENERIFE, Nov. 3 (EUROPA PRESS) –

The Tenerife Auditorium hosts this Thursday the celebration of the sixth edition of the Responsible Company and Innovation Forum, Geyser, which will bring together professionals of national and international reference who, through small knowledge pills, will show the attending public different business realities that will contribute to them novel perspectives and ideas.

The CEO of Tourism of Tenerife, David Pérez, explained that the involvement of this entity in Geyser “starts from the conviction that the differentiation of the Island as a tourist destination comes from the hand of the generation of value for visitors and citizens”. “Through the joint work of the Administration and the business sector, we can offer products and services based on innovation and sustainability that also have a positive social impact,” he said.

The Tenerife Smart Map designed by Turismo de Tenerife aims to develop projects that promote the island’s specialization as a Smart Tourist Destination. A digital service platform, the application of artificial intelligence and blockchain to the tourism value chain or the adaptation of the sector to cybersecurity standards are some of the challenges.

“Its final objective is closely linked to the 2030 Agenda and the Sustainable Development Goals, since a destination cannot be intelligent if it does not seek the common good,” said Davir Pérez, for whom events like this “come to confirm that another way to work and to generate wealth is possible “.

HUMANIST ECONOMY

Géiser will begin at 09.00 hours with the delivery of the accreditations and will have the opening of Bosco González, consultant of Practical Ethics and Humanization of Processes, and a prologue by the sponsor of this edition: David Alayón, CEO of Innuba, company of social innovation whose main objective is to work on the design and innovation of products, services and spaces that generate a positive impact on society.

The central theme of this year revolves around the concept of #Humanist Economy, and to talk about it from different spheres will have the participation of Ana Freire, disseminator and promoter of science and technology. Director of the Technology Area at UPF Barcelona School of Management, she has been included by Business Insider in the list of 23 young Spaniards called to lead the technological revolution.

The event will also feature Alberto López, CBO and founding partner of Genially, a tool that offers interactivity, enriched digital content and sustainability through an online tool used by more than 14 million people, in more than 190 countries, and Luis Zunzunegui , CEO of IDEO, a company that creates impact through design, with offices in Chicago, London or Tokyo. He will be in charge of talking about business design, vision and strategy based on people-centered needs or creative excellence.

Sandra Castañeda, Director of Corporate Development at Triodos Bank, the leading ethical bank in Europe, will then speak on financial profitability, social and environmental profitability. The meeting will close with the science journalist and speaker in forums on innovation, Marta del Amo, from MIT Technology Review, the oldest technology magazine in the world.

Registration to the Forum can be done through the web www.geiserinnova.com And this year, as a novelty, it can also be followed through streaming by registering in this mode through the same platform. Within the commitment of Geyser since 2018 to support institutions or organizations that work for the common good, in this edition 100% of the contributions will be donated to Doctors Without Borders.
