The Santa Cruz de Tenerife Fairground will be hosting the crowning ceremony of the Carnival Queen of the Santa Cruz de Tenerife Carnival 2024, on Wednesday, February 7th, starting at 21:30 (one hour later in the rest of Spain). The event will showcase Jep Meléndez as the new director and will take place on a stage designed by Nareme Melián reflecting this year’s chosen carnival theme, television. Eleven contestants vying for the title of the carnival queen will be parading in representation of various commercial brands. The highlight of the Tenerife Carnival program that we will be covering live through this DIRECT service will be broadcasted by Televisión Canaria (TVC) regionally, and nationally by La 2 of Televisión Española and international audiences through the Canal Internacional. We will be providing live coverage of the magnificent and intricate costumes, true moving pieces of art that have been prepared in Tenerife throughout the year for the Carnival.
