SANTA CRUZ DE TENERIFE, 4th Feb (EUROPA PRESS) –
Aged 23 and 21, two young individuals sustained injuries of varying severity when they were struck by a vehicle on Avenida de Los Menceyes, in the municipality of La Laguna, as per the Emergency and Security Coordinating Center (Cecoes) 1-1-2.
The incident took place early in the morning, around 4:00 a.m., when the 1-1-2 operational room received an alert regarding a vehicle colliding with two pedestrians, necessitating medical assistance.
Upon arrival, the SUC personnel tended to the two injured individuals and transported one to the Canary Islands University Hospital due to chest trauma and moderate neck pain, and the other to the Ntra. Sra. de Candelaria University Hospital for a moderately severe head injury. The Local Police conducted the necessary procedures.
