This Friday, the Guimerá Theater was the venue for a fresh edition of the competition ‘The Song of Laughter‘, where the ensemble ‘The Atomic Cornucas’ triumphed as winners in the Interpretation category. The group ‘The Cartoons’ secured the second spot, and ‘Las Gediondas’ clinched the third place, with ‘Los Escandinabos’ settling for second place.
In the Presentation category, ‘Las Gediondas’ walked away with the top honors, followed by ‘Los Cornucas Atomicos’ in second place and ‘Los Pinturas Animados’ in third, while ‘Los Escandinabos’ managed to secure the second position in this section.
Notably, the esteemed Audience award was bestowed upon ‘Los Cornucos Atómicos’ in a contest that was overseen and hosted by Manón Marichal.
The panel of judges responsible for evaluating the groups comprised of the vocalist Besay Pérez, the singer Lucy del Castillo, the journalist and representative of the Canarian confederation of Professional Associations (CONCAP), Yolanda Arenas, member of the Supositorio and audiovisual producer, José Ramallo, and the Carnival designer, decorator, window dresser, and florist, Miguel Ángel Castilla.
