VALVERDE (EL HIERRO), Jan. 29 (EUROPA PRESS) –
The Salvamar Adhara intercepted a canoe carrying 108 migrants and towed it to the port of La Restinga in the El Pinar municipality, as per Maritime Rescue sources.
The boat’s engines malfunctioned approximately ten miles from the island, containing 101 men, two women, and five minors, all in apparently good health.
This Monday saw the arrival of the second canoe at the Canary Islands, following the entry of one at the port of Los Cristianos with 79 migrants, including three women and five minors.
