Guía de Isora, a municipality in Tenerife, is set to host the prestigious Miss and Mister International Spain 2024 in September. This announcement came during the morning presentation at FITUR (International Tourism Fair) in Madrid, with the mayor of the town, Ana Isabel Dorta, first deputy mayor Carlos Javier Álvarez, third deputy mayor and Councilor for Tourism Ayoze Juan Medina, and Cres del Olmo, president of the Nuestra Belleza Spain Organization, making the reveal.

The event was graced by the presence of the reigning titleholders – José Calle, the current Mister Internacional 2023 and the first-ever winner from Spain, and Toni Company, the Spanish representative for the upcoming Mister World contest. The gala for Mister International Spain 2024 is scheduled for September 10, followed by the Miss International Spain gala on September 11.

The Mister International Spain competition, established in 2013 by owner Cres del Olmo and Nuestra Belleza España organization, is currently the premier national male beauty pageant, with its victors advancing to the most prestigious Grand Slam male beauty pageants.

Triumphant Figures – Alejandro Nieto and Sergio Ayala

The contest has produced notable winners at the national level, including Alejandro Nieto, who claimed the title in 2015 and later became the champion of Telecinco’s “Survivientes” in 2023.

Renowned figures such as Sergio Ayala, the first and only Spaniard to win Mister Model International in 2019, Vicent Llorach, the sole Spanish winner of Manhunt International in 2018, and José Calle, the first and only Spaniard to secure victory in Mister International in 2023, have emerged as products of this esteemed contest.

On the other hand, the Miss International contest holds the distinction of being the third oldest and most significant pageant globally. Since 2019, the Nuestra Belleza España organization has held the license for this contest, with Spain clinching the crown three times. The contest has seen prominent personalities such as Tita Cervera (2nd runner-up in 1961), Silvia de Esteban from Tenerife (winner in 1990), Vanesa Romero (semifinalist in 1998), and Julianna Ro from Seville (Top 8 in 2022), among others.
