The road maintenance department of Tenerife Council is set to undertake construction on the TF-46 this coming Sunday as it goes through the town of Isora Guideto “pacify” traffic and attempt to decrease the “frequent” traffic incidents near the area.
The construction will take place at night, from 10:00 p.m. to 6:00 a.m., and will necessitate the closure of the aforementioned road to traffic, towards TF-1, between kilometer points 6+000 to 0+000.
The council reports that the intervention is aimed at reducing traffic incidents on the left side of the road, at point 0+050, where vehicles collide with the safety barrier and even encroach upon and traverse the roundabout connecting the TF-46 with the TF-1 and TF-465 island roads.
