SANTA CRUZ DE TENERIFE, January 26. (EUROPA PRESS) –
The sale of tickets for ‘TLP Tenerife 2024’ will commence this Friday from 6:00 p.m. via the website www.tlp-tenerife.com.
The event is scheduled to be held from September 3 to 8 at the Santa Cruz de Tenerife Fairgrounds. Interested individuals will have the opportunity to acquire two kinds of tickets for the Premium and Standard Lan Party, providing access to the exclusive Lan Zone.
The Lan Party Standard ticket is priced at 70 euros, offering entry to the Lan Zone and other exclusive activities. On the other hand, the Lan Party Premium ticket is available for 140 euros and includes additional perks such as an exclusive merchandise pack or a tent space for overnight stays at the Fairgrounds’ designated rest area during the event.
‘TLP Tenerife 2024’ is backed by the Tenerife Council, technology firms like Globalan or Binary Systems, with the support of the Innovation Factory and the production by Nakatomi Corp.
TLP Tenerife consists of two zones. Firstly, the Summer-Con Zone is open to the general public, offering a wide range of activities including crafts, educational workshops, K-Pop, Cosplay, video games, and more.
Secondly, the Lan Zone provides access with personal computer equipment to enjoy high-speed internet connection, endorsed by a note from the Cabildo.
This 16th edition of the event will accommodate 1,500 individuals, transforming the Tenerife Fairgrounds into their temporary abode.
Idaira Febles, the event director, explains, “The Lan access ticket enables complete immersion in the teleopera experience,” emphasizing the opportunity for ticket holders to access their computers and consoles throughout the six-day event for gaming, competitions, collaborative activities, and even resting facilities.
The organizers have introduced the ‘Arena Lan Experience’ this year, exclusively for ‘lanero’ participants, providing a distinct selection of video games, a dedicated board game area, arcade machines, as well as a ping pong and pool table to ensure a balanced offline entertainment option, acknowledging the social aspect of the event.
Deputy director of the event, Julia Palenzuela, adds, “Many perceive TLP attendees as devotees to prolonged computer use, but in reality, the social aspect and camaraderie among friends is equally significant, sometimes overshadowing the gaming activity.”
