He Municipal Operational Coordination Center (Cecopal) of the Santa Cruz de Tenerife City Council has reported the presence of jellyfish in the Las Teresitas beach. For this reason, the yellow flag has been raised in the area, in order to warn potential bathers approaching the area.

Cecopal asks all those people who wanted to enjoy a sunny beach today to take extreme precautionary measures to avoid mishaps such as bites.

Jellyfish stings are characterized by causing pain, intense itching, redness and inflammation of the affected area.
