A traffic accident early in the morning of this Thursday, January 18, has collapsed the TF-5 highway in the direction of Santa Cruz de Tenerife. As indicated by the Emergency and Security Coordinating Center of the Government of the Canary Islands (Cecoes 1-1-2), the incident occurred due to the collision of two vehicles, specifically at the height of the detour towards the TF-2 (the connection with the TF-1) in Guajara.
The Canary Islands Emergency Service (SUC) initially treated two minor injuries.
The accident has caused traffic jams in the Santa Cruz direction.
