The European Outdoor Film Tour (EOFT), the largest mountain film festival in Europe, will return this January to the islands of Tenerife and of Gran Canariawhere it will premiere its new programming, which includes six short nature adventures, with sport as its hallmark.
This has been reported by the organization, which adds that the national tour will begin on January 21 at the Guimerá Theater in Santa Cruz, which will be followed by its appointment in Gran Canaria on January 26 at the Guiniguada Theater.
Specifically, Tenerife will be the first of the 20 events that the EOFT will hold in provincial capitals to bring impactful, personal stories, told in the first person to all corners of the country.
In this way, this new edition is an adrenaline earthquake, a great adventure on the big screen with the desert, water, air, snow, and rocks as some of its spectacular natural sets.
For its part, the EOFT travels around the planet with outdoor sports enthusiasts, surrounded by spectacular landscapes to discover the wildest corners of the world, with unique stories told in first person that will travel throughout this season. to 27 countries around the world in more than 550 events.
Among the short films that will be screened are ‘The great traverse’, ‘Triple edge’, ‘972 breakdowns’, ‘The nine wheels’, ‘Summits in the sky’ and ‘Shifting’, works selected from thousands of candidates from around the world .
The festival is screened in its original version, with subtitles in Spanish and translation in sign language, to break down language and communication barriers in an accessible and global event.
