Up to twelve fire crews from Tenerife with around twenty personnel worked during the night of this Friday in the fire that declared on Thursday afternoon in a composting plant from Parque de la Reina, in Aronain the south of the island, and due to its characteristics it is expected that it will remain active for “several days.”
Images of the fire were recorded this Thursday morning from a helicopter of the Emergency and Security Coordinating Center of the Government of the Canary Islands, which continues to affect a wide perimeter near the TF-1 highway and a gas station. The enormous column of smoke is visible from several kilometers around.
