Two people arrested for street selling of medicines in Santa Cruz de Tenerife

The Local Police of Santa Cruz de Tenerife have arrested a man and a woman, both 55 years old, who set up a stand for the sale of medicines on one of the streets where the Rastro in the Tenerife capital is usually located.

Those arrested have been identified as FRJ and JFGG, who acknowledged that they do not have any authorization to sell this type of products, as reported this Monday by the local security body in a statement.

In a preliminary visual inspection, the agents realized that there were even expired medications for sale and the detainees admitted that they had more medications inside a car parked nearby.

In the police count, a total of up to 128 medication containers were counted with a large number of pills, tablets and creams.

In view of all this, all these products were seized and the detainees were identified and transferred to police stations.

Subsequently, both were brought to justice for these events.
