Tomorrow will be the day when excitement runs through the streets of the capital of Tenerife with the celebration of the reception of the Three Wise Men and the subsequent Parade. Although the royal procession is scheduled to begin its journey from Belgium Avenue at 7:00 p.m., parking deletions and partial traffic cuts will be established throughout the day.

As in previous years, the Parade will leave from Belgium Avenue towards the Plaza de la República Dominicana, Avenida de La Asunción, Ramón y Cajal streets, Galcerán, Plaza Weyler, Méndez Núñez, Pilar, Villalba Hervás, La Marina and Plaza de La Candelaria .

Previously, the reception ceremony for the Three Wise Men at the Heliodoro Rodríguez López stadium starting at 5:00 p.m. must also be taken into account.

Parking bans

The first parking bans will begin to be in force from 00.00 hours on Friday, affecting:

  • Madrid Avenue, between Unamuno Street and Belgium Avenue
  • Robayna Street
  • Ramón y Cajal Street on both sides, from Castro Street to Benavides
  • Fernando Barajas Prat Street

Since the 12.00 hours This prohibition will extend to:

  • Heliodoro Rodríguez López Street
  • A section of Belgium Avenue, from Luis de la Cruz Street to the Dominican Republic

At 1:00 p.m. The parking ban will begin to be in force in:

  • Ramón y Cajal Street, from Galcerá and to Alfaro Street

At 3:00 p.m. This restriction will be extended to:

  • Méndez Núñez Street
  • Pilar Street
  • Villalba Hervás Street
  • Marina Street

The last section of the parking ban will be from 4:00 p.m. in:

  • Marítima Avenue, between Francisco La Roche Avenue and Plaza de España

Circulation closures

Street closures will begin at 3:00 p.m. in:

  • A section of Belgium Avenue to accommodate the 16 floats that will participate in the parade
  • San Sebastian Avenue
  • Heliodoro Rodríguez López Street

While the reception of their Majesties takes place at the stadium, the Local Police will begin to close circulation, on the 5:00 p.m. in:

  • 45 minutes later it will be extended to the extension of Ramón y Cajal and Galcerán

Progressively and as the royal procession progresses, traffic will be cut off on the roads affected by the itinerary, allowing passage on the transversal roads until shortly before the arrival of the head of the parade at each affected point.

Better on public transport

In any case, it is remembered that one of the best options to attend the events that will take place in the capital of Tenerife on this day is the use of public transport, whether autotaxi, bus or tram services, which have enabled reinforcements and more. frequencies for the movement of the thousands of people expected in Santa Cruz de Tenerife tomorrow afternoon/night.
