Candelaria is preparing to enthusiastically welcome the Night of Dreams on the eve of Three Kings Day, an event full of magic and fun for the whole family. With a scheduled start at 5:00 p.m.the town center will be transformed into a space for multiple activities to celebrate this very special festivity, as announced by the mayor, Mari Brito, and the Councilor for Culture and Festivals, Manuel González.

The reception for the Three Wise Men of the East will be at 7:30 p.m. outside the Old Town Hall where the mayor will welcome them and Melchor, Gaspar and Baltasar will address the little ones.

The mayor and the Councilor for Culture and Festivals, Manuel González, share their enthusiasm for the dynamism and joy that this event brings to Candelaria every year. “The Night of Dreams is a moment awaited by everyone, where the helmet is filled with life and joy. It is an opportunity for families to enjoy a day together with more than about thirty of diverse activities and unforgettable encounters,” commented the mayor.

Among the planned activities are inflatable attractions, a skating rink, a children’s train, inflatable sports circuits and activities, superhero shows, a Disney Princess musical, acrobatics, the presence of a Jurassic Garden with dinosaurs, as well as photocalls with characters, face painting, balloon twisting and various workshops.

More than 30 activities

In the Plaza de la Patroness of the Canary Islandsa wide range of activities are expected including a photocall with characters, skating rink, inflatables and a dinosaur park. In addition, various shows will take place on the main stage, from dance presentations to superhero shows, culminating with the expected arrival of the Three Wise Men at 8:15 p.m.

In the City Hall area, fun will also be guaranteed with an inflatable party, tricycle circuits, mazes, sports activities, castles and more. While at the Cultural Center of the Village you can visit the municipal Nativity Scene, and the Old Cinema will offer retro experiences with arcade games, consoles and exhibitions. The Plaza de la Cruz Pérez will also be the scene of musical shows throughout the day, with performances by the Nueva Banda de Igueste, the pianist Luis Torres and the Las Candelas Music Band.

The day will be full of entertainment with shows in different spaces, from acrobatics to clowns, in addition to the triumphant arrival of the Three Wise Men in floats accompanied by the Almagec, Tropicana and Tropicana Infantil batucadas. In an adaptation to current regulations and prioritizing animal welfare and safety, this year the Three Wise Men will arrive in Candelaria by float, keeping intact the excitement and charm of their arrival in the municipality.

inclusive zones

Furthermore, in order to promote inclusion and accessibility, a special area has been set up in front of the City Hall for people with reduced mobility (PMR). Those people who require this facility may consult the organization of the event or the security forces present at the site to precisely locate this point.

The invitation is open for all families in the municipality and visitors to enjoy a magical night full of dreams in this very special celebration.

During the press conference, a call was made to use public transport to come to the Noche de Los Sueños and to enable parking spaces such as the area above the Candelaria Civil Guard barracks or on the Los Menceyes boulevard.
