XXIV Christmas Festival – Troveros de Asieta with Polo Ortí and Chipi Chacón

DATE: December 28

PLACE: Leal Theater

TIME: 8:30 p.m.

The La Palma group Troveros de Asieta celebrates the XXIV Christmas Festival in the company of the pianist and established creator of international jazz Polo Ortí and the trumpeter and singer Chipi Chacón. In this edition, they will intertwine the rhythmic forcefulness of the group with the harmonies and virtuosity of these two great talents.

FRIDAY, DECEMBER 29

Tenerife Ballets: ‘Ayeo’

DATE: December 29

PLACE: Leal Theater

TIME: 8:30 p.m.

Ballets de Tenerife brings the show ‘Ayeo’ to the Teatro Leal, a piece that symbolizes a cry of the soul and the feeling brought to dance. With their proposal they will try to make the attending public reflect on current issues such as gender violence.

SATURDAY, DECEMBER 30

Venezuela speaks gaiting

DATE: December 30

PLACE: Leal Theater

TIME: 8:00 p.m.

The group Venezuela Habla Gaiteando celebrates the first festival in honor of the Venezuelan musical genre of the Zuliana bagpipe. In the company of the Tenerife group Sabor y Gaita, the Teatro Leal will be filled with cheerful and traditional Christmas music.

FRIDAY, DECEMBER 22 – FRIDAY, JANUARY 5

Christmas Square

DATE: December 22, 23, 24, 28, 29, 30 and 31 and January 2, 3, 4 and 5

PLACE: Plaza del Cristo

Plaza del Cristo will be transformed into a festive epicenter during this Christmas season, hosting DJ sessions, concerts and food trucks from December 22 to January 5. Under the name ‘Christmas Plaza’, this space will be the main stage for a wide range of activities and entertainment for all audiences.
