Santa Cruz de Tenerife enables free parking until sales

The Santa Cruz de Tenerife City Council and the Port Authority have coordinated to launch from tomorrow, Friday, December 29, the traditional temporary and free parking on the port esplanade. This was communicated by the CEO of the Development Society, Carmen Pérez, who explained that “with this space the city gains numerous parking spaces that will allow us to get closer to Santa Cruz and carry out the last orders to SSMM the Three Wise Men and purchases. of Sales with greater comfort.”

Pérez has reported that “this space, which can be accessed through the Auditorium area, will be open from 9:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m. starting tomorrow, Friday, December 29, and will be operational until January 15, which also facilitates parking during the first days of the sales campaign” and added that “it is a necessary measure at these times of high influx of residents and visitors in the municipality and that it has a very good reception among citizenship and the commercial and restaurant fabric.”

“It is a free, open-air car park, easily accessible, guarded and allowing visitors to visit the commercial area of ​​the city center and which, due to its location, is ideal for parking the vehicle and doing Christmas shopping,” explained Pérez, who thanked “the involvement of the Port Authority team to meet another year one of the historical demands of the commercial sector of the High Tourist Area, as well as residents and visitors.”

“The esplanade has more than 3,500 square meters and is located in a strategic point, close to several commercial and restaurant areas of the municipality,” said Pérez, who added that “with this action the City Council intends to favor the business community and generate a favorable environment.” for shopping, and which adds to the series of measures, promoted in recent months, such as the Christmas Shop Window route or the revitalization program in the central area of ​​the capital, among others.

In this sense, Carmen Pérez stressed that “all these actions that we are promoting from the City Council are being carried out in coordination with the Zona Centro commercial association, and to which we also appreciate the support and involvement” and added that “Santa Cruz faces an end of the year and the beginning of 2024 with numerous activities for all audiences and that will make thousands of visitors and residents come to the capital, buy in our shops and enjoy the wide gastronomic offer we have.
