‘El Chiquillo’ from Puerto de la Cruz collects 840,000 euros from a fifth

Puerto de la Cruz was the municipality of the North of Tenerife where chance was more distributed. Miguel Ángel Cuso, the head of the administration The Little Boy, on Colón Avenue in the aforementioned tourist city, could not be happier on the morning of December 22. One year and eight months after fulfilling his mother’s dream and taking charge of the lottery establishment and selling… 140 tenths! from the number 01568, one of the two fifth prizes that were sold in the tourist city.

In total, Puerto de la Cruz was lucky in this edition of the Christmas lottery with 990,000 euros, of which 840,000 are the equivalent of the 140 tenths that El Chiquillo sold.

Paradoxes of life, Miguel Ángel Cuso, the head of the administration, is a Catalan who curiously worked in his native Barcelona in the hospitality sector and when he decided to settle in the tourist city, by definition in the North of Tenerife, made a professional turn and took over from the former Victoria lottery administrationwhich was in service for 22 years until El Chiquillo took charge.

Miguel Ángel Cuso preferred to be cautious when confirming the prize he had sold; hence in his first estimate he claimed that he distributed fourteen pieces… when in reality luck finally multiplied this estimate. With the excitement of a child on Twelfth Night, Miguel Ángel Cuso awaited the arrival of Raúl de Montis, the delegate of State Lotteries and Betting in the province, so that he could give him the diploma that would certify the visit of chance.

Some clients of El Chiquillo arrived before the delegate himself to congratulate Miguel Ángel Cuso himself, thanking him for selling the prize. And there was no shortage of people who even asked the seller of El Chiquillo the number given because… “I bought it here and I’m sure it ends in 68.” It was the case of Cruci, who preferred to be cautious until he arrived at his house and checked it out. And he was right, he was wearing 68, but in his case he was playing 57768, and not the attractive 01568. Cruci has just bought a property and is living in a caravan and these 6,000 euros would have been a luxury. At least it fueled the illusion.

57421, in three places

Puerto de la Cruz also benefited from the 39 tenths sold of the other fifth, number 57421and in this particular case they were distributed in three points of the tourist city.

The Amelia receiving point, on Agustín de Bethencourt Street, distributed eighteen pieces of this fifth, although its owner, Amelia Rodríguez Fernández, was waiting for confirmation, while remembering that on December 27, 2022, she sold the million of the Euromillion.

At the counter of this small establishment, Amelia shows the little witch to which many entrust themselves. “Since I gave the million euros, many people have come to seek luck here and have even ended up brushing the broom.” Amelia took advantage of the occasion to highlight the importance of the National Lottery’s sales points, at the same time that she gave an account of the name of her establishment. On the façade, a sign with the name Amelia RF. In reality, it refers to the initials of the owner, Rodríguez Fernández, although it does not hide his more commercial vision, making it coincide with his activity. “It could very well be Reparto Fortuna,” said this Sevillian by adoption who has been running the establishment for seven years.

In the nearby and central Plaza del Charco, Ángeles Álamo, a lifelong ranillera, celebrates having sold six tenths of 57421 at her kiosk, the equivalent of 36,000 euros. “I have already sold it Fat at Christmas 2012 and 2018 and I also gave a fifth in 2019.

The distribution of prizes in Puerto de la Cruz is completed with a single tenth sold at the El Tejar Shopping Center, which is equivalent to 6,000 euros.

The Saras give three fifths

The Administration of La Esperanza Lottery of La Guancha is in luck. If last July he sold part of the first prize of the National Lottery, luck has once again visited this establishment run by Miguel Ángel González de Chaves. Although the sale is not confirmed, this lottery administration had consigned a tenth of 45353, which is equivalent to 6,000 euros, plus a small piece of 01568, which corresponds to another 6,000 euros. Added to this are five tenths of 86007, the equivalent of another 30,000.

In total, the La Esperanza administration would have distributed 42,000 euros of three-fifths, according to the initial allocation and in the absence of definitive confirmation from State Lotteries and Betting.

This sales point opened its doors 39 years ago and began its journey in the Plaza de la Feria, until six years ago they established themselves on the main road, their current location.

In the lottery administration of Miguel Ángel González de Chaves, Las Saras, among other workers, serve.

The oldest, Sara Sanfiel, began her working life in this administration nine years ago. A native of La Guancha, she knows what it’s like to enjoy the joys of a jackpot because last July she was awarded the first prize in the National Lottery. She won 30,000 euros that she shared with the other three friends who make up her group.

The other Sara, Sara Hernández, is from Icod de los Vinos and also started working five years ago in this administration. She is the particular big one, while today they have already distributed three-fifths of the National Christmas Lottery.

Icodense Sara Hernández takes advantage of the wink of chance, again, at this sales point, to ask that the work carried out by both the Lottery administrations and the receiving points be made visible. And this administration, which is officially called La Esperanza, has on its staff the best ambassadors of chance, which is recognized by the owner, Miguel Ángel González de Chaves, who avoids the limelight and the cameras, to remember that in the Lottery Christmas last year they already distributed a tenth of the Gordo and a second prize of the Child’s draw. “We have always distributed prizes, but without a doubt, the most important was the Gordo of 2022.”

The Saras do not hide their satisfaction pBecause luck has made your visit to this lottery establishment in the municipality of La Guancha loyal.

In the North, the lottery sales post run by Las Saras was the most frequented by chance this Friday, December 22, with three prizes, followed by the one run by Las Saras in La Guancha.

Two fifths in Icod

Also with two prizes, the recipient located at Avenida Príncipes de España 77, in Icod de los Vinos sold two fifths. In total, 66,000 euros, corresponding to ten tenths of 86007 and one tenth of 88979.

Fefi Luis Armas, a worker at this National Lottery receiving point where you can purchase anything from a ticket to vegetables or sweets, remembers that five years ago she already sold two tenths of the Christmas Lottery jackpot, a total of 800,000 euros.

With Fefi luck came to this establishment located in Icod de los Vinos, as el Gordo just hit in 2018, the same year she started working at La Cruz del Molino. Beyond these altars that he visited yesterday by chance in the North of Tenerife, others were content with the stonesor until the refund that may allow you to try your luck in the Child’s Draw, already at the beginning of next year.
