Luck leaves 1.6 million euros in seven municipalities in the North of Tenerife

Chance caught on chipi Chipi that wet the North of Tenerife this Friday, December 22 and distributed 1,594,000 euros in seven municipalities in this region of the Island.

The most graceful, Los Realejos, where the recipient of the Holy Cross run by Yurena Hernández sold one tenth of the jackpot of the National Christmas Lottery, which is equivalent to 400,000 euros, and to which are added twenty little pieces of the number 57421, one of the fifths, and which in money represents 120,000 euros, as stated in the State Lottery and Betting series assignment.

El Perón, as the point of sale of the Holy Cross is called, would have distributed a total of 520,000 euros. The holder of the position, Yurena Hernández, showed her happiness for the random visit while a dozen neighbors came to the establishment to congratulate them on the good news that did not go unnoticed by the drivers who, as they passed by the Granadillar building, at number 32 of the new highway of Los Realejos, they sounded their horns, and one of the councilors of the government team even approached the place, who communicated the congratulations of the mayor, Adolfo González.

Thanks to the machine

In the afternoon, Yurena Hernández admitted having received a call from two regular customers, each awarded with 6,000 euros, who recognized the lucky visit. “These are numbers sold by machine, since we are not an administration but rather a lottery reception point,” she said.

This point of sale is named El Perón in memory of the grandfather of the recipient’s husband, Antonio Pérez. “Although his name was Vicente, everyone in La Cruz Santa knew him as El Perón,” he explains, to remember that he was dedicated to selling coupons.

«We already gave the EuroMillion in 2021. I hope it goes to whoever needs it most»

Los Realejos was awarded two prizes and the highest amount of those awarded to this region of Tenerife. However, It was in Puerto de la Cruz where one of the four fifth prizes sold in the area was most distributed.

The luck of the fifth

In the North, one tenth of the jackpot of the Christmas lottery, in Los Realejos, and five fifths in six municipalities of the region: Puerto de la Cruz, Icod de los Vinos, La Orotava, La Guancha and La Victoria de Acentejo. And from the results of the draw, chance seems to have its preferences when choosing administrations and points of sale.

Puerto de la Cruz was blessed with almost 1.6 million euros, which were sold in the El Chiquillo administration run by Miguel Ángel Cuso on Colón Avenue, in front of Martiónez beach. 140 tenths! of the number 01568, one of the eight fifths.

And they were not the only tenths awarded in the tourist city, although they were among that number. The recipient Amelia Rodríguez Fernández (or RF, as she prefers: Reparte Fortuna)based on Agustín de Bethencourt Street, sold eighteen pieces of 57421, the equivalent of 108,000 euros, while Ángeles Álamo, sold six pieces of the same numbers at the kiosk he runs in Plaza del Charco, to which is added one tenth distributed in the El Tejar Shopping Center.

The receiver located at 92 Carretera General del Norte, in La Victoria, distributed two tenths of 88979 –12,000 euros–, the same number of which a small piece was sold in La Perdoma (La Orotava), in San Agustín (Los Realejos) and two in the respective administrations of Paseo de La Centinela and Príncipes de España, in Icod de los Vinos.

Because of the preferences of chance, in the North it stands out not only the recipient of El Perón, in Los Realejos, but the administrations of Las Saras, in La Guancha, and the point of sale in which Fefi Luis seems to be the talisman of La Cruz del Molino, what this sale of everything is officially called; As soon as you can buy a tenth of the lottery as a chocolate or a soft drink.

The administration located at 23 Hipólito Sinforiano Avenue, in La Guancha, is actually called La Esperanza, although the coincidence of the name of two of its three workers has caused some to affectionately refer to this point of sale as The Saras. This lottery stand, owned by Miguel Ángel González de Chávez, distributed ten tenths of 45353, five of 86007 and one of 01568. In total, 96,000 euros that went to La Guancha.

In Icod, at the receiving station manned by Fefi Luis, ten tenths of 86007 and one tenth of 88979 were distributed, a total of 66,000 euros. Based on the number of tenths sold, up to two hundred families from the North could have received a chance visit.
