SANTA CRUZ DE TENERIFE, December 22 (EUROPA PRESS) –

El Gordo de Navidad, which has fallen to number 88,008, has played once again at the La Chasnera Service Station, located in the municipality of Granadilla de Abona, in Tenerife, hence it is now known nationally as the ‘ lucky gas station’.

Antonio, one of the sons of the owner of the gas station, has highlighted the joy of giving this award again. “Today we are going to celebrate all day with all our colleagues and all our customers,” he said just a few minutes after learning that El Gordo had been sold at this service station.

Antonio indicated that at the moment no one lucky enough to have El Gordo has approached the gas station, but he is sure that “they will appear during the afternoon or maybe tomorrow. They always end up appearing here.”

The La Chasnera Service Station has also sold the second and fifth prizes of the Christmas Lottery, which went to the employees of the service station itself. “The truth is that this year we have exceeded our expectations,” acknowledged Antonio, whose gas station does not stop giving out awards every year.

What’s more, one of Antonio’s sisters, who takes care of a Lottery receiver in Porís de Abona, in Arico, has also sold the fifth prize: “We are very happy with all the results this year.”
