Sales increase by 2.08% for the Christmas raffle in the Canary Islands

He Extraordinary Christmas Raffle has invoiced a total of 3,318,931,500 euros in its 2023 edition, which represents 4.37 percent more than in 2021, according to provisional data from State Lottery and Betting (LAE) than in the case of Canary Islands has increased by 2.08 percent to 114,222,740 euros.

Thus, sales have grown in all provinces, although the growth has been higher in Girona (10.27%), Almería (7.91%), A Coruña (7.79%), Teruel (7.18%) and Lugo (7.16%).

The average expenditure per inhabitant in the draw was 69.97 euros, with Castilla y León leading the way by exceeding 111 euros per inhabitant, followed by Asturias with 106 and La Rioja with 102.

On the contrary, the Balearic Islands have been the community where the least has been spent (42.98 euros on average), along with Melilla (17.05 euros) and Ceuta (19 euros).
