SANTA CRUZ DE TENERIFE, December 20 (EUROPA PRESS) –
The Court of First Instance and Instruction number 2 of La Orotava, with jurisdiction over violence against women, has agreed to the entry into provisional prison with notice and without bail of a man who on Monday night allegedly sprayed his partner with gasoline in Los Realejos.
As reported by sources from the Superior Court of Justice of the Canary Islands (TSJC), the accused is charged with an alleged crime against road safety, another of resistance to authority, one of injuries and another of threats in the area of violence on the woman and a minor crime of humiliation.
The man was arrested last Monday night after pouring gasoline on his partner, as well as the house where he was, after an argument, although he ultimately failed to ignite the combustible material.
