SANTA CRUZ DE TENERIFE, December 19 (EUROPA PRESS) –
The president of the Government of the Canary Islands, Fernando Clavijo, highlighted this Tuesday the parliamentary tone of Vox in the budget approval debate and the control session while the spokesperson for the purple party, Nicasio Galván, asked him to end the ” red lines” given that they have given an example of “dialogue” during the processing of the budget, with the approval of twenty amendments.
In the control session of the Plenary, he pointed out that in the Canary Islands Chamber there is a “very different example” from that of Congress because although there can be “disagreements” and there are “harsh interventions” there is also “a capacity for understanding” and they are “for above all” the interests of the citizens.
The president has admitted that there have been no more tax or personal income tax reductions due to the “unknowns” surrounding the preparation of the budget and hopes that new measures can be applied if the spending rule is released and the Canary Islands can use the 330 million surplus.
To this end, he has said that after Christmas he will convene the parliamentary groups to address the PGE, the removal of debt and the debt and financing of the islands.
Galván has pointed out that “the family is a priority” and they have seen that in the regional budget there are resources for “climate fanaticism, SDGs or gender ideology” and the “prosperity” of citizens is not taken into account.
He has criticized the “ideological sectarianism” that exists in Parliament and vindicated “the 120,000 Canarians who voted for Vox” for which he has highlighted his defense of the free market, equality, private property, the unity of Spain, life and the families.
