A canoe arrives in Tenerife with fifty people

This Thursday, Maritime Rescue rescued around fifty people traveling aboard a cayuco that was trying to reach the Tenerife coast, as sources from the emergency teams have informed EFE.

The canoe was sighted between Tenerife and La Gomera and the Alpheratz Maritime Rescue team was in charge of carrying out the rescue.

The rescued people were taken to the Los Cristianos dock, south of Tenerife, where they disembarked at around 6:45 p.m. local time.
