What to do this weekend in Tenerife?  List of all plans

Tenerife still loaded with activities during the weekends in a public and private commitment to maintain leisure on the Island. Music, humor and traditions are the suggestive options that will be presented in the coming days so that you can spend a few hours of entertainment to the consumer’s taste. These are the plans planned for this weekend:

Raphael, in concert

One of the best-known artists in the Spanish music scene will be giving a concert this weekend in Tenerife. It is none other than Raphael, who will be at the Santiago Martín Pavilion in La Laguna presenting his latest album, ‘Victoria’.

On Saturday, December 9, the man from Jaen will fill the Tenerife pavilion to delight his fans with a musical project recorded at the legendary Abbey Road studios in London in the summer of 2022. ‘Victoria’ was written and produced by fellow singer and composer Pablo López.

Classics like ‘My Big Night’ or ‘Yo Soy Aquél’, songs covered by him like ‘Lo Sabo Mis Zapatos’ or ‘Mariposa’, and new songs like ‘De Tant People’ or ‘To Continue Standing’ will sound in every corner. of the Santiago Martin in what may be Raphael’s last concert on our islands.

Tenerife craft fair

The Tenerife Fairgrounds hosts the last days of the XXXIX Regional Craft Fairorganized by the Tenerife Council and the Government of the Canary Islands. With free entry, more than one hundred stalls await you to enjoy the wide range of artisan products available on our islands.

Artisans of all kinds gather in the multipurpose building in the capital of the island, although weaving is the main axis on which the fair revolves, with authentic wonders such as Carmen Díaz’s draft 2.0, which has transformed an ancient Canarian technique in jewelry made by their own hands.

A place to go before they close their doors to get some Christmas-focused gifts.

Christmas in Tacoronte

This weekend, Christmas lovers have a mandatory date in Tacoronte. The municipality of the north of Tenerife starts its Christmas atmosphere with the lighting of lights and the inauguration of the nativity scene this Friday, December 8.

In addition, there will be a solidarity food and toy collection. That same day, a tribute to Elvis Presley is celebrated in Tacoronte, one of the most anticipated events on this weekend’s program.

On Saturday, the activities will continue throughout the day, with a Christmas carol gathering, a gospel concert or the presentation of Fantasía 2024 by the Raviscuditos children’s murga.

Besay Pérez, one of the best voices in Canary Islands

One of the best-known young artists of our islands is Besay Perez. The tenor, one of the outstanding voices of Los Sabandeños and who brings together awards in rondallas and murgasparticipated in the television program ‘La Voz’, where his talent delighted all of Spain.

This Saturday, at 8:30 p.m., you have a free appointment at the Teobaldo Power Auditorium in La Oratava, where he will offer his show ‘I’m Still Me’, where he gives free rein to one of the most spectacular voices on the Canary Islands musical scene.
