In response to the alert for adverse meteorological phenomena issued by the Government of the Canary Islands and after the activation of the Tenerife Island Emergency Plan (PEIN) by the Tenerife Cabildo, which contemplates the recommendation of “suspension or postponement of activities that were scheduled outdoors”, the Icod City Council has decided to proceed with the suspension of the Wine Festival, scheduled for the afternoon of today, November 30.

In this regard, it should be noted that many of the participants in said programming, restaurants and wineries, had already informed the council that they were not contemplating the possibility of attending this celebration because the logistics of the event requires several hours of assembly that are not included. will be able to carry out, all this together with the situation caused by the rain that has wet the electrical installations.
