SANTA CRUZ DE TENERIFE, Nov. 29. (EUROPA PRESS) –

The Governing Council of the Cabildo of Tenerife approved this Wednesday the progress of the mobility plan and will present it on December 13 with the 31 municipalities of the island through the Canarian Federation of Municipalities (Fecam).

This was stated at a press conference by the president, Rosa Dávila, who detailed that once it is published in the Official Gazette of the Province (BOP), a period of 45 days opens to present the pertinent allegations.

Dávila has pointed out that the progress analyzes the road and railway infrastructure of the island and in that sense he has highlighted that it is “very important” that the powers that the municipalities have have their “necessary coordination” with the island’s mobility policies.

The progress of the plan structures its long-term development, establishes two temporary scenarios (2035 and 2045) and contemplates five large blocks in which infrastructure and mobility, public transport, transport financing and planned actions are analyzed, as well as such as planning proposals.

In the specific case of the closure of the Guamasa link with the TF-5, he has indicated that there is “nothing new” and reports continue to be collected from the General Directorate of Traffic and the Public Services and Highways areas to make a final decision.

Likewise, the president has announced that this Friday the restrictions that existed on both the TF-21 and TF-24 will be eliminated, as a result of the forest fire, and that prevented certain vehicles from circulating such as motorcycles, ten-meter buses or heavy vehicles. of merchandise.

The president commented that a “normalization” process is already taking place after the extinction of the forest fire and the “safety” of the roads has been confirmed so that traffic can be traveled completely normally.
