SANTA CRUZ DE TENERIFE, Nov. 25 (EUROPA PRESS) –
Coti Sorokin, established in Latin America and Spain thanks to hits such as ‘Nada fue un error’, ‘Antes que ver el sol’ and ‘Again’, has confirmed his presence at the Together for the Mountains of Tenerife concert that will be held on Next December 15th.
The Argentine singer and songwriter is also the author of great international hits popularized by other artists such as ‘Color Esperanza’, performed by Diego Torres, or ‘Andar Me’, by Julieta Venegas).
The roster of artists is currently made up of Nia, Agoney, Diana Navarro, Conchita, Blas Cantó, ST Pedro, Mantra, El Vega, Adexe y Nau, Cristina Ramos, Tatiana Delalvz, Gonzalo Hermida, Ledes Díaz and Ariann, in a poster that will continue to receive additions in the coming days.
At just three years old, Coti Sorokin began studying music and since then her passion became a firm vocation. He formed the group Luz Mala and recorded an album produced by Lito Nebbia, in addition to having been Andrés Calamaro’s studio guitarist during two of his productions.
He produced Javier Calamaro’s first album, they would later make the album ‘Chiapas’ together, he advised the emblematic Enanitos Verdes, in addition to composing for Alejandro Lerner, Sergio Dalma, Enrique Iglesias, Paulina Rubio, in addition to those previously mentioned.
He released his debut album in Argentina in 2001, and it was published a year later in Spain, a country where in 2003 he was chosen as the opening act for Shakira. Other Coti albums include titles such as ‘Songs to carry’, ‘This morning and other stories’, ‘Cats and pigeons’, ‘Damn songs’, ‘I said it through someone else’s mouth’, and ‘What are you waiting for’.
After years of writing and performing hits, in 2012 he released his sixth album titled ‘Le dice por boca de otro’, in which he surprised by singing songs of his own for other artists throughout his career, with special guests such as Fito Páez, with whom he performed ‘Andar Conmigo’, by Julieta Venegas.
After the tour with which he presented the album, he reissued the material with new tracks including ‘Solamente Vos’, the opening song for the Argentine television series of the same name. In 2020, Coti premiered her biographical documentary under the title ‘Nothing was a mistake’, which shows her artistic journey from her beginnings to giving the big concert at the Colón Theater.
THE SHOW
Together for the mountains of Tenerife will be held on December 15, at 9:00 p.m., in the Port of Santa Cruz de Tenerife. The show will allocate its entire profits to the Tenerife Renace project, managed by the Foresta Foundation, whose objective is the restoration of the mountains of Tenerife. It is about raising awareness among the population of the importance of collaborating with the conservation and improvement of the island through an action that, at the same time, provides them with a night of entertainment.

The concert has the participation of the Port Authority of Santa Cruz de Tenerife, Promotur, Tourism of the Canary Islands of the Government of the Canary Islands, Canary Islands Latitude of Life, Canary Islands advances with Europe, Cabildo de Tenerife; and Cadena Dial as the official station.
