Arucas makes Tenerife B suffer, co-leader with Las Palmas Atlético

Tenerife B becomes co-leader of the Canary Islands group of Tercera RFEF, equal on points with Las Palmas Atléticoafter his victory suffered against Arucas (2-1). The blue and white squad They took the lead in the 17th minute with a goal from Cacho and extended their advantage before the break through a great play by Gabri. After the break, Aníbal closed the gap for the Gran Canaria team, which had options to tie.

The first chance of the clash was for the Tenerife team. A corner taken by Fabricio was narrowly missed by Raúl. Just a few seconds later, the Gran Canarians responded to a drive by Carlos that Aníbal headed over Moha Ramos’ goal, very forced. The pulse of the match dropped, but after fifteen minutes Raúl stole in the center of the field, Gabri received the ball and Cacho ran to stand in front of Robles and overtake Tenerife B with a powerful shot.

After 1-0, Mazinho’s team continued searching for the Aruquense goal and Ethyan almost scored in a poisonous cross that was cleared for a corner by Robles. At half an hour, a good combination by Arucas ended with a dangerous shot by Asdrúbal, inside the area, which Moha Ramos took for a corner. On the subsequent corner kick, Carlos Delgado lacked aim, who headed wide.

After forgiving, Juan Germán Giménez’s men received a hard blow when shortly before half-time Gabri received a cross from César in the area and with great skill overcame his defender to beat Robles.

The second half started with Arucas looking for a quick reaction to have a chance of equalizing. And it didn’t take too long to adjust the result, because after nine minutes Isi rode down the wing, beating Otero and crossed to Aníbal, who stood up Omar and beat the blue and white goalkeeper. A few minutes earlier, Ethyan had headed over the Arucas goal after a foul by Fabricio.

the Aruquenses hug

The Aruca team pressed against a Tenerife B team that had fallen into disrepair. After a quarter of an hour, Víctor Socorro skilfully brought down a ball from the sky and faced up to shoot from outside the area, but his shot had too much effect and did not go between the three posts. Shortly after, Asdrúbal gave way from the edge of the area to Kevin, who also failed to hit his attempt.

They were the most dangerous minutes for the Gran Canarian squad, which later put Moha Ramos in trouble with a shot very close to Aníbal’s goal, but which the Tenerife goalkeeper managed to save from point-blank range. The match gradually entered a phase of comings and goings and the changes refreshed Tenerife B, who knew how to suffer and came away with the victory.
