SANTA CRUZ DE TENERIFE, Nov. 10 (EUROPA PRESS) –

This Friday, the Cabildo of Tenerife declared the forest fire that originated in the municipality of Arafo on August 15 and which affected a perimeter of more than 90 kilometers and almost 15,000 hectares across 12 municipalities, to be extinguished.

For this reason, the Government of the Canary Islands, in application of Infoca (Special Plan for Civil Protection and Emergency Response to Forest Fires of the Autonomous Community of the Canary Islands), has ended the emergency situation in the municipalities of Arafo, Güímar, Candelaria , El Rosario, Tacoronte, El Sauzal, La Victoria, La Matanza, Santa Úrsula, La Orotava, Los Realejos and Fasnia.
