Since last night, 263 migrants have arrived in four boats
SANTA CRUZ DE TENERIFE, Nov. 3 (EUROPA PRESS) –
This Friday, Maritime Rescue intercepted a new irregular vessel with 13 sub-Saharan men when they were sailing about six miles from Punta Rasca (Tenerife).
According to the state agency, it was last morning when the Menkalinan rescue boat rescued the migrants and headed to the Port of Los Cristianos.
The Emergency and Security Coordinating Center (Cecoes) 112, added that early in the morning, the usual health care device in these cases assisted the 13 men without requiring any transfer to hospital centers.
Since last night, four boats have arrived in the Canary Islands with more than 263 migrants on board, one of them to Gran Canaria, with 105 people of sub-Saharan origin, two of them women; another to El Hierro, with 83 people, of whom eight were referred to the island hospital; a third cayuco with 70 migrants to El Hierro; and the 13 migrants rescued in the waters of Tenerife.
