SANTA CRUZ DE TENERIFE, Oct. 30 (EUROPA PRESS) –

The Eagle Patrol and the Parachuting Acrobatic Patrol of the Air and Space Army will carry out an air exhibition next Sunday, November 5, at 12:00 p.m. on Las Teresitas beach to commemorate the 110th anniversary of Aviation in Canary Islands.

This was announced by the mayor of the city, José Manuel Bermúdez, in the presentation of the program of activities that will take place between November 2 and 5 in Santa Cruz de Tenerife in an exhibition that will be held for the first time. in the municipality and in which he was convinced thousands of people will enjoy it on a day that he wants to be festive.

Accompanying the mayor in the presentation were the first deputy mayor, Carlos Tarife; the Councilor for Citizen Security and the Anaga district, Gladis de León; the Councilor for Mobility, Evelyn Alonso; the general chief of the Canary Islands Air Command, Francisco Javier Vidal Fernández; the head of the Águila Patrol, commander José Javier Sánchez Martín; and the head of the Parachute Acrobatic Patrol of the Air Force, Captain José Luis Lomas Albadalejo.

Bermúdez wanted to thank the Army for having opted for the capital, “which confirms once again that it is one of the great allies of Santa Cruz over many years.” The mayor called on people who plan to attend the exhibition this Sunday to arrive early enough and opt for the use of public transport, which will be reinforced during the weekend.

Thus, from Saturday, the 4th, a special reinforcement in terms of security and traffic will be available, while on Sunday two extra bus services will be added, between 10:00 and 18:00, depending on the demand for passengers. Specifically, TITSA line 910 will be reinforced, which on winter holidays normally has 5 services in the morning shift and 5 services in the afternoon shift, so with these reinforcements it would be operating with 7 services.

The first deputy mayor, Carlos Tarife, pointed out that the city “is in luck, since it is a real honor to have this exhibition in the city, which was already present on October 12 in Madrid, and which are recognized worldwide.”

The program of activities will begin this Thursday, November 2, with the signing of posters of the Parachute Acrobatic Patrol of the Air and Space Army at El Corte Inglés on Tres de Mayo Avenue, starting at 1:00 p.m.

On Friday and Saturday, November 3 and 4, a flight simulator and an informative stand of the Air and Space Army will be installed in the Plaza de La Candelaria, right in front of the Real Casino of Tenerife, from 10:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. . An activity with free entry.

And on Sunday the 5th, starting at 12:00 p.m., the air show will take place with the participation of the Eagle Patrol and the Acrobatic Parachuting Patrol of the Air and Space Army.

For their part, the military wanted to thank the capital city council, in the figure of the mayor, for the facilities they have had to develop the program of activities and took the opportunity to detail the exhibition, which will consist of three parts and in which six Army planes will participate. Air. The organizers announced that this Thursday there will be a rehearsal of the exhibition that can be seen on Sunday.
