WEATHER IN THE CANARY ISLANDS: What will the weather be like this Sunday in the Canary Islands?

The State Meteorological Agency (Aemet) announces for this Sunday intervals of high and low clouds, low probability of rain, temperatures with few changes or decreasing and light variable wind tending to the south in the eastern islands from the early hours.

In the western province, the wind will be weak from the west in generalmore intense in the extreme south and on the northwest slope of The Palm and of Tenerife in the afternoon, as well as in the central peaks of the latter island.

Regarding the state of the sea, it announces wind from the north, northeast or variable force 1 to 3 or 2 to 4, rippled sea or swell, and swell from the northwest with waves of 2 to 3 meters, increasing to 3 to 4 meters offshore in the north of Tenerife until late at night.

The forecast by islands is as follows:

Intervals of high clouds in general, with intervals of low clouds that will be more compact on the northeast slope during the central hours of the day, where some weak and scattered rain is not ruled out, especially in the midlands. Temperatures with few changes except a slight decrease in the minimum temperatures on the east and northwest slopes. Variable light wind tending to the southwest from midday.

Intervals of high clouds in general, with intervals of low decreasing to slightly cloudy during the second half of the day. Temperatures with few changes or a slight decrease. Variable light wind tending towards a southerly component from the early hours of the morning.

Intervals of high clouds in general, with intervals of low decreasing to slightly cloudy during the second half of the day. Maximum temperatures with few changes, minimum temperatures with a slight decrease. Variable light wind tending towards a southerly component from the early hours of the morning.

TENERIFE

Intervals of high clouds in general, with intervals of low clouds that will be more compact on the northern and eastern slopes during the central hours of the day, where there will be a low probability of some weak and scattered rain, especially in the midlands. Temperatures with few changes except slight decreases in central peaks. Variable light wind tending to the southwest starting at noon, more intense in the extreme northwest and on the southeast slope in the afternoon, as well as on central peaks.

Intervals of high and low clouds, with a low probability of weak and scattered rains in inland areas. Temperatures with few changes. Generally weak wind from the west.

THE PALM

Intervals of high and low clouds, tending to cloudy on the western slope during the second half of the day, where scattered and occasional weak rains are not ruled out, especially at the end of the day. Maximum temperatures with few changes, minimums with a slight decrease that may be more pronounced in interior areas. Wind with a westerly component, more intense in the extreme south and on the northwest slope.
