The active participation of citizens becomes essential to eradicate the presence of dangerous mosquitoes that have recently emerged in the Canary Islands. The most recent case was recorded just a week ago in Return of the Birds, Santa Cruz de Tenerife, where a specimen of the tiger mosquito (Aedes albopictus) was identified. Despite the efforts of Public Health teams, some residents have been reluctant to collaborate in eliminating these mosquitoes.
