SANTA CRUZ DE TENERIFE, Oct. 20 (EUROPA PRESS) –
More than 5,000 people will pass through this weekend at the 17th edition of the ‘FEBODA Fair’, which is held at the Santa Cruz de Tenerife Fairgrounds under the motto ‘Celebrate it with style’ and which has the participation of 60 companies. .
The president of the Cabildo, Rosa Dávila, and the vice president of the fair institution, Manuel Fernández, inaugurated this Friday the fair, which has established itself as a benchmark in the Canary Islands for the weddings and celebrations sector.
Dávila highlighted the companies participating in this event since “it is a sign of vitality and dynamism of the wedding industry” on the island and encouraged everyone “to learn about the diversity of options and styles that they will find here.”
“In this event it is not only possible to plan a perfect wedding, but you can also enjoy creativity in each step of the process to finally have an unforgettable moment,” he commented.
For his part, Manuel Fernández assured that one of the “priorities” of this government group in the Cabildo focuses on contributing to the strengthening of the productive fabric of Tenerife, to which events of this type contribute, “in which “I manifest the great talent that exists on this island”.
TENERIFE FASHION AND SHOWS BY AMARCA AND JOSÉ ACOSTA STYLE
Feboda welcomes the participation of five companies from the ‘Tenerife Moda’ collective, which will show their proposals to the public not only on the catwalk but also in the different stands of the Fairgrounds.
Specifically, they are Amarca, José Acosta Style, Marco&María, Tempus by Cristo Velázquez and the Insular Crafts Company.
The Amarca brand has been in charge of opening the Feboda catwalk with the presentation of its new bridal and party collection under the title ‘Dreams of love’.
Thus, it is an ode to femininity in which white magic covers the roses of a garden full of elegant designs and ethereal silhouettes.
The firm led by designers Sergio López and Ithaisa García opts for long or short dresses in which it leaves its identity latent through silk, organza and chiffon and in which tulle regains a fundamental role.
The Feboda catwalk will once again dress up this Saturday as it welcomes another of the ‘Tenerife Moda’ brands, specifically that of designer Jose Acosta Style.
The creator will show his new men’s ceremonial collection in a fashion show that will take place in the central nave of the capital’s Fairgrounds at 1:00 p.m.
The Island Craft Company of the Cabildo, in collaboration with the Tenerife Clothing Sector Council, will also be present at Feboda with an exhibition that recreates the evolution of the island’s traditional wedding dresses from the end of the 18th century to the beginning of the 20th century. XIX.
The exhibition includes, along with several mannequins and information panels, different traditional pieces of popular fashion in Tenerife, as well as the uses and customs of the popular classes.
The exhibition can be visited at stands 422, 424, 521 and 523 at Feboda.
